Contact Form

Overview

The Contact Form block adds a built-in Shopify contact form so customers can send messages directly from your storefront.
It includes common fields such as Name, Email, Phone, and Message, and supports optional product context for “Ask about this product” use cases.

Where to use this block

You can add the Contact Form block in any section that supports theme blocks, such as:

• Contact / support sections

• FAQ or help pages

• Product pages (for product inquiries)

• Any content section where you want customers to reach out

How to add this block

1. Open the Theme Editor

2. Navigate to a section that supports blocks

3. Click Add block

4. Select Contact Form

Block settings

Content

• Attach product URL (optional)
  Adds the selected product URL into the submitted message (as a hidden field).
  This is useful when the form is used for product-specific questions.

Layout & behavior

• Width (Desktop)
  Fit content / Fill / Custom

• Custom width (Desktop) (visible when Width (Desktop) = Custom)
  Sets the width as a percentage (0–100%).

• Width (Mobile)
  Fit content / Fill / Custom

• Custom width (Mobile) (visible when Width (Mobile) = Custom)
  Sets the width as a percentage (0–100%).

Style

• Inherit color scheme
  When enabled, the form uses the parent section’s color scheme.

• Color scheme (visible when Inherit color scheme is disabled)
  Choose a separate color scheme for the form block.

Padding

Controls the spacing inside the form block:

• Top

• Bottom

• Left

• Right

Tips

• Use this block on a dedicated Contact page or Support section for the best customer experience

• For product inquiries, enable Attach product URL so you immediately know which product the customer is asking about

• Keep the form width readable on desktop (avoid extremely narrow layouts)

Limitations

• The Contact Form uses Shopify’s built-in contact form behavior. Submitted messages are delivered using Shopify’s contact notification system configured for the store.

• Attach product URL only works when a product is selected (or when using a preset that provides the closest product context).

Need help?

If the form is not working as expected:

• Make sure you are testing on the published theme (or a preview that supports form submissions)

• Verify store contact email/notification settings in Shopify admin

• Confirm a product is selected when using Attach product URL
