Product compare

The product comparison popup allows customers to put products together and compare them. Then choose the best product that meets their needs. And customers can also add the product to the cart without a page refresh.

This article will guide you on how to edit the information displayed in the product comparison popup.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Click Customize next to the Woodstock theme.
3. Click the Product compare section on the left.
   

A block in the section is displayed as a row in the popup. All blocks have a common setting Row name that is used to name the row. Below are the details of the different settings for each block:

Featured image

Setting	Description
Image ratio	The image ratio for the featured images of the products: Portrait - Crops the images to use a 2:3 ratio. Square (default) - Crops the images to use a 1:1 ratio. Landscape - Crops the images to use a 3:2 ratio.

Product options

Setting	Description
Type	Changes in how the variants are displayed to customers: Pills - Displays the variants as clickable buttons. Dropdown - Displays the variants in an expandable drop-down menu.
Enable color swatches	Display pill variants in color swatches. Configure the color name in Theme settings > Color swatches.
Color swatches style	Specify the way to display color swatches: Custom color: you can configure the color code for each product color in the Color swatches section. Variant image: display the variant's featured image. If there are multiple variants of the same color, the featured image of the first variant will be displayed.

Show quantity selector	Show/hide the quantity input.

Metafields
This block displays a row that shows product's metafield value. Learn more about metafields.

Metafield namespace and key	Enter your namespace and key.
